    3/4 cup Regular Rice
    1/2 cup Whole Urad Dal (without skin) or Split Urad Dal (black lentils)
    1/4 teaspoon Fenugreek Seeds (methi dana)
    1/2 tablespoon Chana Dal (gram lentils), optional
    Water, as needed
    Salt to taste
    Oil, for shallow frying

    How to Season A Pan
    1. Wash the pan with warm soapy water
    2. Sprinkle the pan with oil
    3. Use a sponge to distribute it evenly
    4. Heat the pan on the stove for about 3 minutes, during this time the oil will be absorbed (Be careful not to ignite )
    5. Clean the pan with kitchen paper to remove excess oil
