Bateman could not have landed in a better spot than Baltimore. While I tend to be hesitant on going all in on rookies, Bateman is the exception due to the rare combination of situation with current skill that he brings to the table. Watching film, it was easy for me to determine that he is the second most pro-ready WR in this class behind only Ja’Marr Chase. His size/athleticism/route-running ability are a recipe for success if given the opportunity to produce right away, which many rookies don’t have, but without anything near a WR1 in Baltimore, Bateman could step into that role immediately. Currently, his ADP is WR62, but I have him as my WR28. The only reason to be cautious with Bateman is because he has never played an NFL snap, but if you’re looking for the next Justin Jefferson, then Bateman’s your guy.
